Southern Tour 2013, here we come!

It is that time of year again!  Another choir tour, and this year we are heading south!  We can't wait to embark on our journey to visit Roanoke, Virginia, Asheville, North Carolina and Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.  This year is the first year that all choirs in the upper school choral program will be attending tour and we are so excited to have everyone involved.  Women's Choir, Men's Ensemble, Bell'Arte Singers, Madrigals and our two a cappella groups (Men of Note & Nota Dolce) have been working hard and ready to share their musical gifts to share God's love and ultimately bring Him glory.

Below is our itinerary and prayer requests for the trip.  Visit the blog daily to get updates, pictures and videos of our journey.  You can also follow us on Facebook via our choir page - Annapolis Area Christian School Upper School Choral Program.  We will be "tweeting" on tour!  The bird in the upper right corner of this blog will take you to our twitter - www.twitter.com/aacsuschoirs.  Our hashtag for tour will be #aacschoirtour2013.  Until tour, here is a little pre-tour fun.  The AACS choir students show off their tour t-shirts at last night's Send Off Concert.  The AACS choir teachers have been working hard to plan a great tour for the students.  The 24 hours before tour is crunch time to get all planning complete, including a Costco run!

Ms. Kauffman & Mrs. Joseph hit up Costco for tour supplies. As well as a hot dog and frozen yogurt for Baby Joseph!

Getting ready for this year's Tour Send Off Concert!

All smiles for Southern Tour 2013

Getting excited and ready for tour!

Good thing Ms. Kauffman has an SUV.  Supplies for 120 people takes up a lot of room!
